MJ Rocks!!!!

As a tribute to Michael Jackson, we made these special edition "I wanna rock with you" cupcakes.
Yes, Michael Jackson has also inspired me as a cake decorator.
Remember my blog post "ABC as easy as...." blog post. He got all of us singing and perhaps secretly doing the moon walk:)

You will be missed MJ!

Baby Blocks Cake and More

We've been on a catalogue mission. Most of the time we are very busy with decorating, but a lot of our time is also spent updating and improving our cake catalogues. Our catagories have grown since our early days so we've had to create new catagories.
In fact, a lot of you our blog fans have literally chosen your cake design off of this blog because we didn't get a chance to put our creations on our catalogue.
Well, I"m soooooooo excited to say that our "PINK Cake Bibles" are ready to roll.
After many hours of listing, quadruple checking, copying and categorizing photos, we have our BRAND NEW Cupcake catalogues and kids cake catalogues.
We're still working on our wedding cake and xtravagant cake catalogues, but I know for sure, you'll enjoy the news ones that are out now.
Here's a quick pic of our cupcake catalogue.
Come check it out, my FAVE is our Pink Collection:
"Cupcake designs so amazing, you wanna gossip about them.":)

Here are all the catalogues as we are putting them together.

Here's a brand new cake creation we made for a 100th day celebration.
It will soon be on our brand new catalogues.

As requested, we sculpted Baby Bunny with her blanky

Her cute buddies, beary sweet and duckies

And, an adorable baby pram with a sleeping baby inside.

Here's the Video. Gotta see how big this cake was.

Fun week of decorating

They did it:) Lana, Mami, Helen and Cindie completed their Course 3 class this week.
If you've been following our blog, you'll remember seeing these ladies in action doing their Course 1 and 2.

Check out their 2 tiered cakes:)
I was very proud of them.
Its hard to believe that these ladies just picked up fondant a week ago
Congrats ladies!

Speaking of fondant, I had a photo shoot and interview with Ming Pao newspaper today.
I had a special guest Isaac decorate with me as I shared about decorating with fondant.

Isn't he so cute. He was quite the natural at cake decorating with fondant.
The article will be out on Ming Pao July 5th.

Animal Mania Cakes, Cupcakes & Cookie!

Most days, we decorate cakes, cupcakes and cookies with different kinds of design themes.
But once in a while, we have days where most of our designs happen to be a similar theme even though they are for different parties.
Check out our Animal Mania designs.

Now here are some famous animals.
I'm sure you've herd of them...Madagascar.
I'm loving how Giraffe is swinging a sneak peak behind the tree:)

This Giant Cupcake with our adorable Giraffe made a lil surprise to Miss. Suki.

And, no animal themed party is complete with out these CAAAA--YUTE animal lollipop cookies.

Ok, so I don't usually play favourites. But I have to admit,  I'm seriously loving Mr. Piggy
with the mud splats on his belly:)

Lady Lioness's hair was pretty cool too.

Annnnnnnnnd, last but not least, I know I mentioned on my last blog that our snuggle baby cupcakes were OH SO ADORABLE.
Hello, these smoochable, huggable and kissable animal cupcakes are pretty hard to beat.
Ok so this shot is not stealing your heart right now, keep scrolling down....

See Told Ya, don't chya just love their spunky hair.

Star Wars Lego Storm Trooper cake

We hand-sculpted and made 3 Storm Trooper cakes for Max's 6th Birthday.
You may have seen the Giant Storm Trooper cake on our kids Xtravagant cake portfolio.
That was for Max's 5th birthday and he is still a hard core fan of Star Wars. This year, his mom thought of something even cooler, a cake army of Storm Troopers.
Here they are, yes, all three were hand-sculpted cake figurines.
I had a blast doing the cake and was even more over the moon when I got an email from Max's mom.
"Dear Jacinta,
The cake(s) looked fantastic!! The children were all in awe when it was cake time. Max couldn't believe his eyes....you should've seen his face! All the adults were taking pictures.
The cupcakes were all gone in a flash and so yummy. The kids loved their personalized cookie on a stick... Thank you for making such wonderful Deelites!!--L"

Here's a fabulous video we put together.
Everything about it captures star wars. Now, I have to clarify my gibberish lingo in the beginning. It sounds like I"m saying "JORDAN Clones". But I was trying to say Drone and Clone:) You will then quickly realize that I had no clue what to call these guys so I ended up calling them........ just watch, you'll see:)
Enjoy!
ps: I KNOW they are called Lego Storm Toopers :)
