Mr. Sharky Cake

We made a really cool Spooky Shark cake jumping outta the ocean.
And here's how our cake came to life.
First we carved, sculpted and covered our cake with buttercream.

Having doubts this will look like a scary shark jumping outta the ocean....:) keep scrolling

We then covered our shark with a think layer of fondant colored in light silver gray.

Jaws is slowy coming to life. I know he looks so harmless right now....BUT keep reading:)

Here he is after his first make over. I brushed his skin with a shiny gloss finish.

And then...DUN NAHHHHHHH can we say JAWS!!!!! Wait don't swim away yet, Mr. Sharky doesn't want to bite you, he's hungry for some fish.

Tah Daaaaaa!!!!, he wanted fish and we gave him yummo fish.

A yummo and Purdy fish!

Purdy fish now in Jaws Mouth.

Mr. Sharky likes Purdy fish, Yum yum

And finally, we added the finishing touches of Mr. Sharky jumping out of the ocean.

I bet chya can't get enough of Mr. Sharky Huh. Well us too, so we made a cool Video.
Enjoy!!!!!

Polaroid Cake!

We hand sculpted a chocolate cake into the new SX-70 Polaroid Camera for their product launch celebration.
I"m a HAYUUUUUUGE polaroid fan!!!! The look of the photos, the click of the machine and the sound it makes when your photo comes out, theres nothing like it.
Our cake didn't have the fab sound effects, but I"m sure it tastes better than the real thang:)
As you can see, this is a newer model, so maybe the classic polaroid sound effects are new as well.

Have a wonderful weekend! Hope its filling with lotsa Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeesy moments:)

I know a big part of halloween is about spooky goblins, guts and blood, scary hairy creatures crawling everywhere. I'm more a fan of cute and pretty halloween:) So here's my twist on adding a bit of Deelite into this occasion.
I thought Halloween needed a bit of a color boost:)
Just a touch of Pink.Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh much better!!!

I always knew Halloween needed some Pink.
Doesn't our Princess Batty look so much prettier now.

Happy Thursday!!!!

Red Velvet Wedding Cake!

This wedding cake includes 3 tiers of red velvet cake covered in Champagne white fondant & smooth white fondant draping.
In addition to the draping, we highlighted each tier with green ribbon and pearl trimmings.

We also hand piped dots on alternating tiers and arranged the couples theme flowers around the cake.

The cake was apart of a fabulous reception at the Shangri-La Hotel.
