Royal Castle Cakes:)

We have been in serious castle mode.
We had the joy of creating 2 exsquisite castle designs for 2 very special princesses:)
Both had lights and firework effects added. Oh how I wish we could show you  fireworks and lights in action that would have been so cool. Well, I trust your imagination can give you a close enough visual:)

Here is our Royal Rose castle cake fit for a birthday queen. The cake flavor was chocolate and vanilla. We covered the cake with different shades of pink roses. The staircase was decorated with edible lace detail.

 

 

We made another giant princess castle cake for Karena Ng  Both beauties were featured in apple daily newspaper. As you can see, Karena was a very happy princess indeed.

Fashion Glitter 21st Birthday Cake!

We got a phone call from Heathrow airport in London asking us to do a SPECTACULAR, Sparkly, Fabuloso 21st birthday cake. The young lady was in transit and wanted to make sure her cake was in order before flying. LUV IT:)

As requested she wanted her colors to be pink, silver, black with a lot of sparkle. LUV IT:)

We accessorized the side of the cake with all sorts of fashion must haves.

Website Changes & Wine Barrel Cake:)

So have yáll noticed??????? Need a hint.......Ok, our title I think is a HUGE hint. I hope you have noticed and if not, I totally understand as I haven't talked about any website changes at all.

We've updated our cake catalogue!

After many months of slaving over hundreds of photos and re-organizing all of our images we finally managed to redo and update our website and our cake catalogues at our store.

HIP HIP HOOOORAY!!!!!

The task felt like a never ending project and when we all finally completed our new books

I was over the moon!

All about the lil details:)

I often get asked what my favourite cake is to decorate. It's always hard to say as I LUV to decorate cakes so I guess ....everything????Which is kinda a boring answer.

After all these years, I've finally discovered my favourite type of cake I LUV to do. Its not really a type of cake but more about the story I imagine in my mind when I'm doing the lil details. The lil details always make my day.
Like when Mr. Monkey is grasping onto #1 as his other hand is holding onto his prized Banana:)
Cuz we all know Mr. Monkey will never let go of his banana not even to share with the birthday girl:)

Or when we're asked to make a cute bear on top of a spring themed cake. I imagine the bear sitting so pretty with her pink bow on her head surrounded by a shower of the sweetest

A simple cake for Summer Pool Party always makes me laugh. I imagine everyone having so much fun in the pool they don't even want to get out to eat cake:)

I giggle every time I make the lap swimmer as he's trying to weave between the party animals. My ultimate favourite part is adding the splash marks on his body. I literally feel like I"m swimming with them at the party.

For a Romantic English Wedding I loved the Drapes and pearl drops that dangle dainty flowers on the edge of the cake. As the bride also had similar details to her dress it was so wonderful celebrating her special day with her

I also luv doing designer bag cakes but my favorite part was adding the pretty flutterflies to the bag.

I imagine the dainty colorful Flutterflies fluttering everywhere as she is blowing out her candles.

Last but certainly not least. Even spiderman couldn't get away without a lil detail.:)

P.S it was pulling teeth trying to take away our red bow from Spiderman's hands before packing him up for his birthday party.

NOW TV Shoot & Deelite

We had a great opportunity to share our edible creations and store with NOW TV.

The filming was done at our store.

I had a great time chit chatting with Mandy and the crew. You're probably wondering why we're taking a photo with a magazine cover.

Our Anemone cupcakes were featured on the same Elle issue as Mandy's fabulous cover shot. Tooo Cool!


I also did a lil cupcake DIY session.

Sweet Dreams Cake!

We made a fabuloso mushroom cake for a sleeping beauty.
The birthday girl LUVS to sleep.
Her sister made a special request to design a 3D mushroom cake with her sister doing her favorite thing. Sleep!!!
What a great idea, we had a blast making the cake too.

"Happy Rabbit Year!! thank you so so much for creating such a gorgeous cake yet again!! My sister LOVED the chocolate mousse. Also, some people thought that the mushrooms were REAL!! It was incredible. "

Photo Cakes!

We decorated this beautiful scroll works wedding cake recently.

As requested by the lovely couple, we made a cinnamon cake filled with yummo cinnamon buttercream.

They are HUGE fans of cinnamon and really wanted a special cinnamon cake for their special day. So we whipped it up for them.

We embellished the entire cake with 2 shades of purple.

The best part of the cake was the photo collage capturing all of their sweetest moments together.The bride put together the beautiful photo collage and emailed it to us. The image was edible too.

We also personalized our popular castle with an adorable photo of the birthday girls.

One of the photos featured is a raspberry bag. A bag made with real raspberries

Here's our version of the raspberry bag. The cake flavor is Chocolate covered with fondant raspberries.
