Pretty in Pink Rocking Horse Cake

We recently made a beautiful pink rocking horse theme cake for a sweet baby princess. 

The parents wanted the cake colors to be very soft and sweet just like their princess Irene. 

We loved putting all the lil details onto the cake

 The rocking horse made out of gumpaste was absolutly  irresistable:)

Popeye Cakes, Cupcakes and Cake Pops!!!

 We recently made a fabulous Popeye themed birthday cake for a Super Dooper Strong Spinach eating 1 year old. 

The entire theme of the party was decked out with Popeye theme so of coarse we went all out with the cake, cupcakes and cake pops:)

We made oodles of these adorable spinach can cake pops to go around the entire cake display. 

Yes, the silver can is edible. We used edible luster dust for chocolate to get the shiny silver finish. Fab!!

 I sculpted 4 layers of cake to make a can. The cake flavor was vanilla cake with Mango & Cream Filling

 Then we made oodles of Popeye theme cupcakes to go around the cake display with the cake pops.

And yes, somewhere under that pretty pink jacket is a muscle just as big as Popeye's:)

Website Changes & Wine Barrel Cake:)

So have yáll noticed??????? Need a hint.......Ok, our title I think is a HUGE hint. I hope you have noticed and if not, I totally understand as I haven't talked about any website changes at all.

We've updated our cake catalogue!

After many months of slaving over hundreds of photos and re-organizing all of our images we finally managed to redo and update our website and our cake catalogues at our store.

HIP HIP HOOOORAY!!!!!

The task felt like a never ending project and when we all finally completed our new books

I was over the moon!

All about the lil details:)

I often get asked what my favourite cake is to decorate. It's always hard to say as I LUV to decorate cakes so I guess ....everything????Which is kinda a boring answer.

After all these years, I've finally discovered my favourite type of cake I LUV to do. Its not really a type of cake but more about the story I imagine in my mind when I'm doing the lil details. The lil details always make my day.
Like when Mr. Monkey is grasping onto #1 as his other hand is holding onto his prized Banana:)
Cuz we all know Mr. Monkey will never let go of his banana not even to share with the birthday girl:)

Or when we're asked to make a cute bear on top of a spring themed cake. I imagine the bear sitting so pretty with her pink bow on her head surrounded by a shower of the sweetest

A simple cake for Summer Pool Party always makes me laugh. I imagine everyone having so much fun in the pool they don't even want to get out to eat cake:)

I giggle every time I make the lap swimmer as he's trying to weave between the party animals. My ultimate favourite part is adding the splash marks on his body. I literally feel like I"m swimming with them at the party.

For a Romantic English Wedding I loved the Drapes and pearl drops that dangle dainty flowers on the edge of the cake. As the bride also had similar details to her dress it was so wonderful celebrating her special day with her

I also luv doing designer bag cakes but my favorite part was adding the pretty flutterflies to the bag.

I imagine the dainty colorful Flutterflies fluttering everywhere as she is blowing out her candles.

Last but certainly not least. Even spiderman couldn't get away without a lil detail.:)

P.S it was pulling teeth trying to take away our red bow from Spiderman's hands before packing him up for his birthday party.

100th Day and First Birthday Cakes

Here are our latest 1st and 100th Day birthday cakes.

For Zachary's cake, his parents chose a Cake + Cupcake combo

with lil Zachary's teddy bear on top of his cake.

For Oliver's first birthday, we hand sculpted a lil baby tiger and giraffe bedazzled with a huge bunch of celebration balloons.

Inspired by one of our wedding cakes,

we made a very special 100th day birthday cake filled with a bouquet of of flowers.

Chace's Har Gou Cake (Prawn Dumpling)

We made a SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER cute 1st birthday cake for Baby Chace.

The cake is not as cute as he is, never the less its an UHDORABLE first birthday cake.

He is a huge HAR GAU dumpling fan, so as requested we made him his very own dim sum birthday cake.

The dim sum cake was our yummo strawberry shortcake. Home style vanilla cake filled with fresh strawberries and cream.

Doesn't the bear kinda remind you of Baby Chace too:)

Deelite in Cosmoplitan Bride!

Got some very exciting news!!!!Our cupcakes were featured in Cosmopolitan Bride magazine.
Whats even cooler is that our cake pops also got a SAWEEET mention.

Since we're on the topic of Saweet UH-dorable news, we've been on a bear kick lately.

Here are our latest creations .

We custom made these bear shaped lollipop cookies for a birthday party favor.

For a birthday diva turning 10, we splashed her entire cake with pink diva leopard print.

As requested by the birthday girl, we added a lazer tag bear on the cake.

Everything about these 100 & 101 day is UNbearably cute!!!!
